I should have added "anything online apart from Hawass" (who, regrettably, I've not always found to be wholly reliable ...)

Although, if the seventeen pyramids were the real deal, I'd have expected to see more evidence emerge over the past eight years - unless the recent problems in Egypt have meant that further investigation on the ground hasn't been possible.

I haven't been able to find anything much on this, apart from the fact of the prize itself.
