Thank you very much for these. It's always interesting to see different photographs of these locations. You realize how much the walls of the relieving chambers have suffered from modern graffiti.

Well ... I wouldn't have gone quite that far, perhaps. But, certainly, what they did was disgraceful, and various legal processes have been set in motion.

here, it seems that Görlitz and Erdmann didn't acually touch the red paint of the cartouche (or, if they did, it wasn't shown on any of the videos available until recently).
There is a video
here showing (at about 1:30) the taking of a sample of paint from an area that is white, not red.
