I suggested on the previous thread (or somewhere else here, too damned confusing now) to Cladking that he should check out Frank Doernenburg's site. He claimed he couldn't find it. For those who might wish to find it easily in the future, it's under our web links in the Egyptology section.


Frank does an excellent job of breaking down the issues regarding sled friction, ramp construction, and how much manpower was required. Well worth the time to read through the four pages on construction. The fifth page concerns the Davidovits' geopolymer idea and not a part of this current discussion.
