Doug:
I have the entire publication in hard copy form, but I am unclear which article you want. The
Khufu's National Project article is by Zahi Hawass, not Stadelmann, while Stadelmann's article in Janosi's work is concerning the Seti I mortuary temple at Gurna.
Hawass basically rehashes much of Stadelmann's theories about the Great Pyramid, but I can't seem to find any specific reference to Sneferu's regnal length
within the article, but to
Khufu's regnal length.
However, in this citation (Hawass 2006: 309, N. 9) of the article, Hawass references this work
Stadelmann, R. 1987. Beiträge zur Geschichte des Alten Reiches. Die Länge der Regierung des Snofru.
MDAIK 43: 229-240.
as a means of support to argue that
Khufu's reign lasted 46 years.
AEB Summary:
I suspect it's the MDAIK article you want, not Hawass' or Stadelmann's in the Janosi publication.
