Ok Pistol but what about the early 360 day calendar and when were the 5 days ( Hrjw rnpt, - the ones that followed) added?
Early agriculture would have had its planting and reaping days/periods so how come the 360 day calendar actually survived, I fail to see how "coming early" could be tolerated at all or for any length of time. Surely the bright star intervened at an early date and the 360 count merely warned of its approach.
Perhaps 365 was an abhorrent number and so we ask ...why the nice round number of 360 in the first place ... was it maths based, geometrically based?
