Hi Jon ...

This particular author was obviously a novice as most know that Khafre's pyramid although marked everywhere I look as 53 degree 10 minutes in fact was in all probability 53.13 degrees (53 degrees 7.8 minutes) which is the angle we get in a 3,4 and 5 right angled triangle and I doubt anyone here would argue against that this is what Pyramid 2 used in it's construction. When he says ... ... suggests that the design was not controlled entirely by a mathematical formula, ... would tend to make one think he had only a superficial (if even that) knowledge of geometry, sekeds, Egypt and the pyramids themselves.
