Jon:
Hello again...!
Yours: "..."Queen's Pyramids" is a misnomer as not all served the same purpose..."
Mine: Do you know what queens were buried and which of these small pyramids they were buried in?
Yours: It's common now to separate them into "Satellite" or "Cult" pyramids and "Queen's Pyramids".
Mine: It may be "common" for archeologists to separate them now, but what was the original function of the pyramids if not used for burial? What is the deciding factor that separates burial from cult?
Yours: "...And there are eight not seven, you've forgotten G1d.
Did I?
Yours: "...No one that I'm aware of has ever suggested that G2a was a "Queen's Pyramid" as the chamber was too small to contain a human burial.
Mine: What chamber?
G2a is square and 1/10th the length of G2...or twice the length of an average house! How big must a pyramid be to bury an individual, were there minimum size specifications ?
Can you provide at least one queen's name and the associated pyramid?
Best.
