Well none of the pole stars has ever been identified securely from Ancient Egypt as far as I know, so there's no way this conclusion is correct, unless there is evidence we are not aware of.

The book in itself is interesting, as it shows how in 1894 races were assumed to exist and be essentially different from each other. The date is right about when Aryan theory was really taking hold, especially in Germany where the Kaiser and Bismarck were veering the people towards the right wing.
