Also, if we take the serek as representing the palace why then are the goods placed in the tomb for use in the afterlife? Whats the point of labels other than to identify for the deceased (where he is [in the tomb]) when he returns? Are you suggesting that horus returns to his old palace to recieve the offerings? Or are you suggesting that in the afterlife he needs to be reminded of his former residence that is now in replica?
