I guess "the area of the face being equal to that of the height squared" was already being discussed prior to Petrie's 1883 edition for he mentioned the same in chapter 21, section 145. As for "the reality of intentional connections" I agree and the best way to do this is to explain how "the area of the face being equal to that of the height squared" applies to the chamber positions, if not all three then at least the King's in its unusual off center location.

This is indeed possible.
