Hi Dave,

I am wondering if you are familiar with the recent, and superbly well produced, translation into English of Lepsius' 1865 work "The Ancient Egyptian Cubit and its Subdivisions". J. Degreef and Michael St. John deserve much credit for bringing this work back into the light of day, and for doing so with such care and sensitivity.

To answer your question: Lepsius refers to 3 cubits from the National Museum of Antiquities in Leiden. This was in 1865, and so I do not know if these cubits are still housed there.
