I am compiling data for a new book dedicated to the Egyptian Cubit in one reference volume.

I have much of the information already on file, but:

I would like to get data on every single surviving Cubit rule, with photographs and transcriptions.

First up though, where are all the Cubits?

I have so far that I know of:

Cairo Museum.
Louvre, Paris.
Petrie Museum, London.
Turin.
Metropolitan Museum New York.

Does anyone know of any others off the top of their heads that I might be missing? There are lots of museums in Berlin and St Petersburg etc with good collections, so I am sure there are many more Cubits around.

So what I will do first is compile all the info on the Cubits available, and prepare a Bibliography on all of the publications that reference.

If anyone has any other suggestions please post them.

It may seem surprising but there is no general study already published.
