Hello Khazar-Khum'

KK: Why would this be so critical to the AE?
SC: By "this" I presume you mean the codex? To be honest I don't know if it was 'critical' to the AEs. Certainly it was important enough for them to implement (re-create) the ancient plan on the ground at Giza. By the time of the AE, this codex would have been very ancient indeed and would have been regarded by them as having come from the Gods or as the Edfu inscription tells us, "fell from heaven". This codex would have been as sacred to the AEs as, for example, the Ark of the Covenant was sacred to the Jewish people. It was a part of their religious culture that spanned the ages, connected them with the occasion of the First Time. Much in the same way Chritians, even to this day, build their churches in the form a cross, this sacred codex would have formed the basis of the plan for Giza.

KK: Why wouldn't they build other temples to show this, not just Giza?
SC: Giza represented the implementation of the sacred codex. However, to achieve its construction would require on the part of the AEs a massive investment of time and people. The AE would look at the pyramid forms on their codex (perhaps a small granire model) and would have to figure out how to build these forms. This would take much trial and error, a long learning curve. Once the AE had perfected the craft of building the first true pyramid it was then time to implement the construction of the sacred codex - time to build Giza. Being of such a monumental scale, there would only ever be one implementation of the sacred plan that would last for all eternity.

KK: Finally, if it *was* so critical, why didn't they write it down? They wrote the various prayers & spells over & over, not just on papyrus but on the walls. Why not do that for precession, too?
SC: The codex was designed as an 'astronomical message' to be passed down through generations, far into the future. Were the designers to have used their own language (as opposed to the 'language' of the stars) to write this precessional information, they could not be sure that in thousands of years in the future it would be understood. Look how long it took us to get to grips with hieroglyphs! Much simpler would be to choose a group of stars and demonstrate to us the 'critical' positions of those stars. It is a visual message - no maths required. When the belt stars appear horizontal on the SW horizon is one 'critical time'. The second 'critical time' is when these same stars appear vertical on the eastern horizon. Another visual message. What we are to make of these visual messages is anyone's guess but I find it remarkable that science is now finding evidence that when these belt stars were horizontal on the SW horizon (c.10,500BC) traumatic events took place on the Earth at that time. It begs the question - why are we then being shown the same stars vertically on the eastern horizon? I will leave you to draw your own conclusion.
It is entirely likely that the codex would have been passed through generations accompanied by an oral tradition, connecting it with Orion and with preparation for the 'Afterlife'. By understanding the precessional knowledge, i.e. the visual clues of the star alignments presented by the placement of the 2 sets of so-called 'Queens Pyramids', we are effectively being given an 'advance warning' of some (as yet) unknown cataclysmic cycle. By understanding the 'message' of the codex we are being presented with information that allows us to prepare - not for the Afterlife - but for the
aftermath of whatever calamities this cyclical 'event' may bring. By understanding the knowledge within the codex we can prepare for this 'event' and ensure our survival in the aftermath. Thus we find the Pharaoh 'appropriating' the pyramid as his tomb to ensure his journey into the Afterlife. The AEs may have remembered fragments of the oral tradition that connected the pyramids with the ability to somehow 'survive death'. The pyramid is symbolic of the sacred mound that rose from the primeval waters. We find the pyramids surrounded by boatpits, some with boats. Yes, to ensure the Pharaoh's journey across the heavens. But I read another more ancient subtext, one of possible cyclical cataclysm, of massive global flooding and a 'message' telling us to prepare ourselves in order to survive it. By understanding the true ancient subtext of the Gizamids, life is being given the chance to survive death.
