A great deal of the original material that exists occurred after
the completion of the pyramids. This seems to apply a great deal
to the Pyramid texts as well.

There's much difficulty getting data to form any sort of theory
about the pyramids and their builders. Later material is suspect
as it regards what to them were ancient times and is often contra-
dictory with itself or apparent facts.
