Religion on the whole celebrates events, that such events are known means they were recorded as a story (mythology) and eventually celebrated yearly on specific dates. All human inventions, in the form of thought or as objects, are born from observation and desire. Religion is not a natural occurrance, rather it is man made to explain natural occurrances that form cyclical rebirth; those 2 of 4 childern who die from famin would be part of the observation, which eventually led not to the creation of another god but the practicable creation of graineries.

Religion won't put a roof over your head or a fire in the pit nor clothes on your back, yet rain, fire and cold could easily be given to a gods power (...) does that mean the former were miracles given by a god? no, it means humans wanted to survive in comfort.
