Hello,
I'm on a quest for the location of ancient Punt, and I know that though its not known for certain, I've read a few intriguing possibilities. It seems as though Hatshepsut's voyage is a lengthy one, too long to have just been to present day Sudan. Also, I wondered what anyone thought about the possibility of Punt as being in Eastern Africa? In my research I've read that Sierra Leone is unusual in East Africa because it is an ancient pyramid building culture, and though the pyramids are of course much smaller than in Egypt and are built out of mud brick, it seems possible that the exchange of knowlege and goods might have occured in that respect?
Thank you for any help,
Justine
