The reason it hasn't been done is because there's no good reason to do it. There is no evidence whatsoever that these dimensions were important to the people who built the pyramids, so what is the point in wasting resources on expeditions to find the measurements?
Show us the cultural evidence that says the people who built the pyramids in Dynasty IV created the dimensions for a reason, and then there will be no problem getting the work done.
I'm quite sure the only reason Petrie spent so much time on measurements is because somebody before him ASSERTED that the dimensions had meaning, and he went in to check the accuracy of the claims. Naturally, the accuracy was bogus, the claims were false, and the entire premise of "encoded measurements" was debunked. How many times do we have to go through the exercise before people understand that these dimensional speculations have nothing to do with Egyptian pyramid builders?
