The flaw in your argument is that we know what the pyramid is and what it was for.

The mystagogues who continue to throw doubt on the genuine Egyptology are simply confusing the reality of what happened in the past, and that includes those who are undermining the star shafts.

John Wall was correct to attack aspects of the Orion Correlation Theory that are speculative IMO, but that does not permit him to undermine factual Egyptology in the process. The star shafts are not the result of or dependent on Robert's theory, and it was understood that this is what they are long before the publication of Robert's book. The star shafts have been part of the Great Pyramid for 45 centuries before Robert or John ever picked up a pen.

As for new information, the people on this site know the geography of the Giza plateau and the physical details of the Great Pyramids inside out. You can see this from the reconstruction made by Jon B for example, which is probably one of the finest ever done anywhere period. Chris Tedder, an architect, has also spent years studying the details of the star shafts in minute detail, and is familiar with every survey of these features ever done.

The people on this site also have a great and in depth understanding of the various surveys that have been carried out, and the written texts from the contemporary Old Kingdom Tombs from the time. Ritva has a fine understanding of the Old Kingdom religion.

John Wall is entitled to publish what he wants. He cannot change the facts of the matter though, facts with which we are all familiar.
