I have seen different results from Google, including stuff that is directly controlled by my cache. What the searchers did NOT do was try the search from another browser or another computer.
I find the "nationalpost" source rather suspect and extremely biased. In the "kill your pets" article, for instance, they announce that climate change proponents are suggesting you kill your pets to reduce your carbon footprint. I personally think neutering them is the proper thing -- and no policymaker that I've read has suggested that you should kill your pets.
I'm also a little curious about the power of Solomon to control Wikipedia like that -- since I've recently gone to them for information about the Little Ice Age. Now, I don't look this stuff up obsessively but I'd like to see some sort of factcheck on this.
