what in Gawd's name are you talking about
you asked me if I was in tune with the Natural World
I took the opportunity to share that commonality with you
and you turn that into my disrespecting you??
Did you know that I am a published Naturalist?
a licensed wilderness guide?
That my art is a reflection of my relationship with nature?
Or were you just looking for something to hang the hat of dispute on??

Let me tell you the story of what hap[pened the other day...and if you do not believe3 me then We have nothing further to talk about...
I was doing a crossword when I noticed the sound of many crows
Now usually at this time of year you wouldn[t htink twice about that becuase they are all starting to assemeble for the journeys southward But my ears noticed a differnet quality to their noise
So I went outside, menawhile my wife wondered what the hell I was doing. Until I yelled at her to fetch the leather gloves from beside the fireplace.
Outside on the fence alongside the abadoned school was a crow. apparently dead, hanging from the top of that fence. But as I approached it started flapping helplessly. it';s rear foot was hooked around the mesh and the harder it pulled the more it was trapped (kinda like one of those old Roman finger puzzles).
anyway it didn't take much for me to flip it;s toe around and release it.
the bird flew up into the air and began to frolic with all his cousins and they all circled around cawing their thanks to me
The birds were of course smart enough to make enough noise to garner help
I was tuned in enough to hear the call
Whateever you are tuned into it doesn't appear to be your fellow man
