Yes, but the problem is the calculation of the actual "timing" of these things...
There is still no consensus in that and what may accelerate or slow down these
field flipping processes...
I agree that the fact that field flipping is an inherent part of the EM Earth system is
already agreed by most traditional and non-traditionals, based on clear evidence
of prior flippings and some simulation models, but most are still looking at
all of this as a "closed system" and, therfore, not taking into consideration any
catalysts!!!
For example when you say heat is coming only from two sources: "1. decay of radioactive elements and 2. release of heat as iron crystallizes within Outer Core". This only
confirms that Earth is still being primarily viewed as a closed system! What about the Sun as the primary energy source of the solar system?
You then further say that "neither of these reactions have anything directly
to do with the generation of the Earth's magnetic field. They just keep the iron
in the Outer Core molten enough so that its can circulate". Well, just keeping
the "iron molten enough" is an important part of the process and, therefore, related...
I am just pointing this out to you to show others the traditional "way of thinking" which you clear bring to the table...
