Hi Simon,

As a state school kid I wasn't offended until you pointed it out smiling smiley

I had a recent brush with the Independent School system - I was helping deliver a careers evening at our local Private School. At the end the then Careers Master asked if my friend and I could solve a long-standing debate between him and his wife. He wanted to know whether or not a butterfly was considered a bird or an insect.

Having spent several university vacations working at Eton College my general impression of the indelpendent sector has been - nice, personable, confident pupils. Wouldn't want them on my side at the pub quiz though smiling smiley

Pete

God is our guide! from field, from wave, From plough, from anvil, and from loom; We come, our country's rights to save, And speak a tyrant faction's doom: We raise the watch-word liberty; We will, we will,we will be free!
