I agree. I read something once about eels migrating to their birthplace based on some pre-historic geography --- I have no idea how valid a theory it is or isn't. I think insects and some non-warm-blooded creatures have a tendency to alter their behavior based on lunar phases and other things that aren't supposed to effect us. Something must be affecting them but what?
