where in the uk is the best place to see it...i live on the south coast and have not seen it....but there is so much light pollution here that we cant see much of the heavens anyway....

does it need to be a clear night?...

any particular direction to look in?

i am going to bridport (dorset coast) for the weekend, camping, so would that be a good time to look?
