Oh God, don't talk to me about suspended animation.
I just finished watching Karaoke and Cold Lazarus,
great .. top notch.. futurist.. edgy.. and fantastic
entertainment.

It really makes an excellent foray into looking at the
morals of SA and scientific experimentation in order to
find ways to make our ugly lives more tolerable.

Usual brilliance from the writing hand of Dennis Potter.

p.s. (on edit) - Albert Finney was better than great in
Karaoke and Cold Lazarus, so marvelous that I've begun
thinking that he might have been even better than Michael
Gambon as Philip E. Marlow in The Singing Detective... of
course, Gambon was just fine and still ranks as one of the
world's great actors. It's just that I've never seen Finney
take on a role like that of Daniel Feeld, but then I'd never
seen Diane Ladd do anything like Martina Matilda Masdon, either.
Whoaa!

And don't even get me started on honeybabe Ewan McGregor in
Lipstick on Your Collar. Gawd, he's been my favorite actor
ever since!
