but, asserting a NEGATIVE does not make it right either!
As such, IMHO the ONLY straight and forward logic position that can be used is to assert a NEUTRAL position...
In other words, a neutral position is also accurate, maintains the 50/50 probability of being correct and does not bias the argument on either a positive or negative way...
The neutral position, of course is "there could be" vs. "there is" or "there isn't"...
As such, I prefer to approach life with either a NEUTRAL or POSITIVE assertion of reality vs. a NEGATIVE...
