Kat, IMHO this clearly shows that when a theory (any theory!) is presented as true and taught in School, then it becomes very hard to correct it or revise it when more evidence becomes available or new concepts and views are introduced...
If Pluto does indeed belong to another class of objects at the edge of the solar system, then it could imply several other key things, like what actually happens at the edge of the system? why is Pluto so small when compared to other planets? Is its mass being depleted by the forces at the edge of the solar system? and why is there so much turbulance out there at the edge, as its been already detected by our deep space probes?
What is the solar system really interfacing with at its boundary?
What are the specific transition phases at the boundary? and what other forces are involved?
