There's a coastal wave machine on the shore on Islay in Scotland that has been producing energy for probably almost 20 years. It was a lecturer at my engineering school that masterminded it. He also was pushing for wind power which has been incredibly slow to take off here. Scotland has great wind resources, yet places like Denmark and Germany have jumped way ahead on that technology. The Ocean Power Delivery machine off the Orkneys seems good though. Its the first of its kind yet seems to work well.

The technology is there, and in fact has been there for 20+ years, to change over to a hydrogen economy. Its late in the day now, but unless we do it we could be in big trouble.
