Well, I think I was more concerned for the fabric of the church than for the corpse itself; to judge from the TV pictures, they had to dig up the floor and tiles in order to reach the corpse. In principle, I've no objection at all to DNA samples being taken from bones, and scientific investigations being carried out on corpses; but, in a case like this, I did wonder whether the purpose of the inquiry was enough to justify all the disruption.
