Totally, utterly, ridiculous.

What about all the TV series with guns, killing, violence, car crashes etc etc?

And don't get me started on the influence of the news, politics, wars etc..

What's wrong with a bit of competitive sport? People have been doing it since time immemorial. How often do you see any actual violence anymore on the pitch? After Cantona that's finished. What the teachers should be concentrating on is getting the kids onto the pitch and playing the game rather than complaining about them watching it.
