No, its not a ford at all. In fact it was one of the last cars Rover designed before it was bought out by BMW.

The electronics are BMW, but the basic design layout is Rover.

Its also by no means small. Its low yes, but inside there's loads of room for anyone well over 6 feet.

I had an old mini, and my family has had about 8 in all. My dad had an original Cooper 998 when it came out at first, and my brother is on his second New model cooper, 4th cooper in all.

If you don't know what a Cooper is, just look up Monte Carlo Winner 3 times. (4 times really, but they caught it out on a technicality one year)

But the old one is still the best way to get from A-B in a hurry in the town.
