Hi,
I can speak three languages and can read/write two languages. language development has always amazed me when I was a child. I have tried to use just the opposite words for opposite situations wondering why "go" instead of "come" what makes them to choose "come" come and go for go. but, later when was exposed to more than one language I realised there are other words such as "vaa" or "Aoh" for
come and "poh" pr "jaoh" for
go
I am thinking of starting to post about Tamil and willing to learn some other language from its basics.
for example, there are 12 vowels and 18 consonents in Tamil. and, there is the combined form (12 x 18) which have separate shapes/script (what is the right word here?) in Tamil. so, there are 12 + 18 + (12x18) + 1 (special letter for the sound "ah") =247 letters in Tamil language. what about yours?
similarly I would like to learn about different calendar systems... the ancient ones.
