Hi Merc,

You can get BT to block calls that don't allow "1471" to log their number - which is handy for the pre-recorded "you've won a prize" cons. You have to pay for the service though.

The ones that p*** me off are the ones from India where the introduction is "Hi, my name is <insert western name here>. I have no problems with Indian call centres but I do have a problem with people trying to sell me something and then lying about their names!
