I would hate to be the military personnel and contractors who
get delegated to search for, collect, and report any information
of alien bodies, alien ships, and crashes for Congress. Presuming
none exists, when they report their findings they will get pillared
for being part of the conspiracy to suppress the truth and their
inability to find anything will be regarded as evidence of this
conspiracy.

Assuming for sake of simplicity / argument that the alien bodies,
ships, technology, and crashes are all imaginary just makes all
that currently is happening far more weird and bizarre.
