Never, ever, loan things to production companies. The actors and the crew do not give a flying rat's ass about anything that belongs to someone else. Considering how they destroy costumes and props on even small-scale productions, it can only become exponentially worse when the budget rises. There's a reason the wardrobe people are known as 'costume dragons'--do anything untowards with a costume, and you will regret it, no matter who you are.
