Maybe ... IIRC, I think I found the ending a bit mournful; maybe I was hoping for something a bit more cheerful. If the photo-story montage had led to some amazing revelation ... but it didn't. The protagonist was living as a bag-lady somewhere in London ... all rather unsatisfactory, I thought.
