Don,

that's funny.... we went to the 6th book release in nearly the exact same set of costumes... Dumbledore, Minerva and 3 students.

Small world, huh?

And for the record...

The movie was excellent; probably the best adaptation of the books yet. The directing, as some have stated on other boards, is a little choppy. It views more like a slideshow than a movie in the beginning, with scene jumps that require a fair bit of Potter-knowledge to stay up with the action.

But once Mike Newell found his groove, there was clearly no stopping him. We hope he is kept on for the rest of them, in fact. (Oh... given his previous directing credits, I have hereby renamed "Harry Potter and The Goblet of Fire" as "Three Contests and a Funeral").

Great time, though. Can't be seen without the first three, but an excellent film nonetheless.
