My list of all time horrid musicals includes.

1, Lost Horizon, nick named "Lost investments", 1972.

2, Grease, what they did to a great stage musical was positively criminal!, 1978.

In musical form:

Quote

I got fears their multiplying!

What with Oliva's acting and Travolta's singing, my lunch I'am upchunking. Its Stupyfing!

I'am having a brain haemorage Uhh Uhh UHHHHHHH!
I'am having a brain haemorage Uhh Uhh UHHHHHHH!
I'am having a brain haemorage Uhh Uhh UHHHHHHH!

3,A Long Last Love, Just image a musical with Burt Reynolds and Cybil Sheppard. No wait you don't have to imagine, 1975.

4, The Sound of Music, A saccarine horror. Christopher Plummer who was in the movie refrs to it as "The Sound of Mucus". Do not watch go get and listen to the original broadway recording with Mary Martin, 1965.

5, My Fair Lady, is on this list because the makers of the film insisted on turning it from a comedy into a tragedy by having Eliza go back to Prof. Higgins at the end. Also indication that makers thought they were better playrights than Shaw, 1964. (And they were not!, despite their conceit about "improving", Shaw's play.)

As an added bonus a musical two part version of Alice in Wonderland that aired on TV c. 20 years ago is hideously memorable.

So what do people are truly horrible movie musicals?
