I think the idea of the converse trainers are that they are more than a bit old fashioned!

No idea how much the outfit would cost though... anyway moneys not an object for the Doctor he just waves his sonic screwdriver at a cashpoint and it dispenses money!

Hrm I wonder what the long term effects on an economy are of the Doctor paying a visit... OK so he steals money, but then he does also save the planet from being taken over by some type of evil overlord....
