Hi Steve,
>>
Just clearing things up.
Now, can you please elaborate point by point?
Alright.... Here are the quotes I commented on:
"
...Nearly on every continent there stands some form of pyramids. What instigated these ancient people to travel the extreme distances over land masses and water through out the millenniums and how did they accomplish this? Why would they bring along with them the tradition of building temples constructed like pyramids?..."
This one is funny, because she starts with the statement "Nearly on every continent there stands some form of pyramids". From there she asks the question "What instigated these ancient people to travel...." I found her question amusing because it hasn't been established that ancient people traveled
any distances carrying pryamid building traditions, and she has lept right into the "Why would they do it" phase ROFL!
"
...He is pure; he does not seek admiration for his research and does not display a narcissist idiopathy of unfounded hypothetical scientific surrealism..."
Do I really need to explain why this one is funny? LOL. Instead of saying what she thinks Schoch is not, why doesn't she just say what she thinks Schoch is? I think she just wanted to use big words here...
"
...Schoch’s understanding of early sea faring and land migrating civilizations building sacred monuments and temples such as pyramids across land masses and major oceans to other continents is clearly based from gathering data from a multitude of fastidiously documented and undocumented research from highly diverse, academically and non academically accredited individuals..."
Ummm, Steve... how does one go about studying
undocumented research? Seriously, I'd like to know the secret to that trick.
"
...Modern people need to grasp the importance and significance in respecting the monuments and their builders, as the monuments are representative of our own past heritage and world history. They serve as universities educating us of our past and present day circumstances and may hold the key to help construct a more positive foundation of mind and spirit in preparation for future humanity..."
Pyramids serve as 'universities educating us of our past and present day circumstances'? And they 'may hold the key to help construct a more positive foundation of mind and spirit in preparation for future humanity'? Don't you agree that this is OTT, and extremely New Agey?
"
...'Voyages of the Pyramid Builders' is challenging and its authors have set new standards of integrity and ethics in writing bodies of work relating to our ancient past..."
Look, I like Schoch as much as the next guy... but honestly, do you really think he 'set new standards of integrity and ethics' in
Voyages? I think she went overboard with this review, it appears that she was trying to impress Schoch rather than inform potential readers about the book... IMO
Best wishes,
Barbara
