For some reason, I thought they tried to make a kid's programme for adults... There were some very 'kiddie' themes in there (the incidental music was like you find in kids' shows, for instance, and some of the story elements seemed aimed at kids , especially her not noticing her boyfriend had, er, changed [don't want to spoil it for those that haven't seen it..lol] ), but I got the feeling that the script was aimed at a more mature audience ("He's gay. They're aliens." for example).
Saying that, though, I thought it was okay and Christopher Ecclestone surprised me by being different to the other doctors, although he could have done with a question mark somewhere on his person..lol
