I agree. The genital images, both male and female, are
definitely there... but you have to have an eye for them.
Once I saw them, I knew that Caravaggio was spittin in the
sexophobic eye of the Church. That's probably why his painting
was rejected when finished.

OK. It doesn't show in the scan you made, either. I'm looking
forward to re-reading The da Vinci Code with better illustrations.
I finished Angels and Demons, which deals mostly with sculpture and
architecture and does speak of the Church's infamous history in defacing
or destroying those kinds of works, including replacing all the male
genitals on Michelangelo's sculptures with fig leaves and completely
destroying all the statues in the Pantheon. Shudder...
Now I'm reading Deception Point, a thriller that deals with a conflict or
power struggle in Washington... VERY much to my liking. Great book, also.

It even talks about the ins and outs of power politics and the media before all this stuff came out about leaders and officials paying members of the "press" and putting out their own news....
