All baa myself: Is this Britain's loneliest sheep?
A sheep spotted at the foot of steep cliffs on the shores of a Scottish firth has been dubbed Britain's loneliest sheep.
Jill Turner, from Brora, said she first came across the ewe while kayaking along the Moray Firth's east Highland coast.
She believes she has seen the same sheep again, with a very overgrown fleece, on a recent trip this year.
Ms Turner told the Northern Times it bleated out to her and fellow kayakers.

Rescu-ewe me?: The challenges of reaching Britain's loneliest sheep
The SSPCA said it had considered a potential rescue with support from a local farmer.
But the spokeswoman said: "The area where the sheep is stranded is very inaccessible by both land and sea, making this rescue incredibly complex, especially due to the logistics of rescuing a large animal.

But, in a week of otherwise very bleak news, an unexpected turn:
Resc-ewed: Britain's loneliest sheep saved from shoreline
A ewe that was dubbed Britain's loneliest sheep has been rescued from a remote shore in the Scottish Highlands.
The sheep, now named Fiona, had been stranded at the foot of cliffs on the Cromarty Firth for at least two years.
An animal welfare charity had said any attempts to rescue her would be "incredibly complex".
But a group of five farmers have now managed to haul her up a steep slope. They plan to shear her overgrown fleece and hand her over to a farm park.

And, as Fiona gambols joyfully towards the shearing-shed and the farm-park, what better song to celebrate her new-found freedom than this:
