Yes I agree completely. Thats very different from saying they "cancel each other out"

Only if they are not configured correctly. There is a good chance you would have to tweak the configuration with two on the same machine. Again as its only really worth doing in a proffessional environment thats not a problem.

Its just pointless having two different anti virus programs installed! They certainly would not "cancel each other out" which is what you said and what I was correcting...
