It's questionable.
It's unique (no other stamped image disks exist from that civilization or surrounding civilizations) -- the symbols don't make much sense and they don't (in spite of what the Wikipedia article claims) really resemble Egyptian hieroglyphs:

I don't know that it's accepted by "most archaeologists."
Some of the footnotes and journal references at the bottom of Wikipedia show a lack of support, as does the lack of journal articles.

In any case, a civilization that couldn't predict its own collapses and disasters is unlikely to be able to predict events 3,000 years after its death on a continent they had no awareness of and no way of reaching.
