There are a lot of 2012 end of the world theories that include things like Nibiru, Phaëton, Giza pyramids, aliens, etc.

Let’s see if we can clear some things up. First, Nibiru. The info below is from wiki.

Nibiru is a term in the Akkadian language, translating to "crossing" or "point of transition", especially of rivers. In Babylonian astronomy, nibiru is a term of the highest point of the ecliptic, i.e. the point of summer solstice, and its associated constellation. The Nibiru constellation rose in the month of Tišritum, around autumnal equinox, and Nibiru was also a name for the planet Jupiter when observed in the month of Tišritum.

But in ancient Hellas the planet Jupiter was also sometimes called Phaëton.

According to one tradition Phaëton (the mortal male offspring of Helios) went to his father, who had earlier sworn by the River Styx to give Phaeton anything he should ask for. Phaëton wanted to drive his father's Sun Chariot for a day. Although Helios tried to dissuade his son, Phaëton was adamant. However, when the day arrived, Phaëton panicked and lost control of the white horses that drew the chariot. First, the Earth grew chill as Phaëton flew too high and encountered the celestial scorpion, its deadly sting raised to strike. Alarmed, he dipped the chariot too close, causing the vegetation to burn. By accident, Phaëton turned most of Africa into desert and darkened the skin of the Ethiopian nation until it was black. Eventually, Zeus was forced to intervene by striking the runaway chariot and Phaëton with a lightning bolt to put an end to its rampage and Phaëton plunged into the River Eridanos.

In the above myth we should keep in mind the constellation of Scorpius. Also, the fact that the Sun chariot is close to the Earth could either mean that it is actually at its closest point in orbit – perihelion, or that it is closest to the horizon as viewed from Earth. In the second case this occurs at Winter solstice. At this time the duration of the day is smallest. This is the opposite of Nibiru that refers to the highest point of the ecliptic (Summer solstice). We are of course stationed in the Northern hemisphere.

Some consider that the Phaëton story reflects knowledge of an exploded planet V scenario, see asteroid belt. The largest asteroid is Ceres(Demeter in ancient Hellenic), so they call this ancient planet Phaëton. Other’s consider this Phaëton and Nibiru a 2012 Maya colander predicted close approach of a Solar partner – brown dwarf - or something like that, which with its highly ecliptic orbit could approach very close to the Earth and mark the end of civilization as we know it.

Let’s see if we clear things up. OK, nibiru for the Babylonians is supposedly a term of the highest point of the ecliptic, i.e. the point of summer solstice. But this could also mean something else. The Earth’s farthest point in orbit – aphelion around the Sun. According to Starry Night Pro Plus the aphelion of the Earth at 1750 BC (Hammurabi reign) is
152,300,000 kilometers. Now, let’s compute the wordnumber (gematria) value of Nubiru with no vowels as if it was a Semitic word in a Semitic writing system(for example Phoenician abjad):

NBR(Nibiru) = 50 + 2 + 100 = 152

This means that Phaeton is the opposite of Nibiru. Here is proof. In the sacred Hellenic alphabet the arithmetic value of Phaeton is (Oa is the omega letter):

PhAEThOaN = 600 + 1 + 5 + 9 + 800 + 50 = 1465

At Hammurabi’s time the perihelion of the Earth was 146,900,000 kilometers. What this means is that Phaëton reflects a different time period – a much older one.

If we take into account Starry Night Pro Plus, and solar system orbital simulation Data like that found here:

[astrobiology.ucla.edu]

we will see that these perihelion values take us back in time. The values in the data file above are quantized so I cannot produce round numbers. But here is the perihelion outcome when taking 10,000 , 100,000 and 200,000 years before Khufu’s reign(Before Khufu: BK = 2580 BC):

T1 = 12,716 BC = 10,136 BK
P1 = 146,661,000 km (Khufu pyramid height)

T2 = 101,696 BC = 99,116 BK
P2 = 143,369,000 km (Kafre pyramid height)

T3 = 204,366 BC = 201,786 BK
P3 = 142,292,000 km (Kafre pyramid limestone height)

The above analysis solves the Giza planning issue but does not pinpoint the Phaethon destruction scenario. None the less, looking at our past we will see that this Phaëton blast can only refer to a satellite like the one that drove the dinosaurs to extinction (65.2 to 65.8 million years ago) charging into the Yucatan peninsula. The rest is elementary:

T4 = 65.58 million years ago
P4 = 146,483,000 km
PhAEThOaN(Phaëton) = 600 + 1 + 5 + 9 + 800 + 50 = 1465
Chicxulub crater date = 65.2 to 65.8 million years ago

I think the Cenozoic period should be renamed to Phaëton period.
