If I were a mechanical engineer (Which I'm not, have a hard time telling one end of screwdriver from the other.) But if the guy wants a generator that will keep the lights on with no planetary atmosphere tell him no problem. And then design him a self-contained unit with a micro-nuclear power plant that will keep the lights on, and just keep running the bill up with improvements as long as he's willing to pay or until Jan 1, 2013.
