<HTML>Hi sandy,
Actually I did not mean you when I said that... to me you have a... a... an unusual version of certain aspects of chemistry that can be frustrating to deal with (like that definition of synthetic, where basically everything in the world that does not exist in a purely elemental form must then be called synthetic), but you seem to be honestly attempting to reconcile why nature could not have produced the same geopolymer product that Davidovits says the AEs "synthetically" did. In a way I think you have a point... BUT, I kept thinking that the quarry limestone just didn't show up any ZK20 according to Davidovits... and I disagree with the concept that just because the raw ingredients are present, the final product has to be there too. I do understand enough chemistry to know that sometimes something as simple as an incompatable pH can be all it takes to keep those raw ingredients from ever interacting. And I admit that I don't understand all of the "chemistry" of the geopolymer theory well enough to see where something like that wrong pH would irrefutably be the man-made change that makes it all work when nature couldn't make it work on her own. I was hoping that Sandy J. could help provide those kinds of "chemical equation" missing pieces for me. Hence, my frustration. I know that Sandy J. was frustrated at times with you, but I don't see you as the source of his leaving.
Sorry for the confusion.
