<HTML>Greetings.
I would like to address some of the questions posted on this thread.
Question:
No mention of the necessity for air (snifting) valves?
We do not think that the Great Pyramid water pump was a hydraulic ram pump. No hydraulic ram water pumps are like the Great Pyramid water pump. The Great pyramid water pump and hydraulic ram water pumps operate differently and these pumping systems have different components.
Question;
Very nice device, but anyone trying to pretend that the GP is a triple hydram cascade could at least present the supporting math.
Answer:
We do not feel the Great Pyramid water pump is a hydraulic ram pump.
Question: I also note (http://www.thepump.org/ppbook.htm) that the accompanying book, that we are encouraged to part with $25 for, is "hard to find" and "is not available from Amazon.com or Barns [sic] & Noble". I wonder why.
Answer:
The book is privately published and the proceeds fund some of our activities.
Question:
Steve, you haven't answered my original question, what brought you to the conclusion that the GP was a water pump?
Answer:
The theory most fits the physical evidence. It gives meaning to the precision of the casing stones and gives purpose to their being bonded together on horizontal and vertical sides. This theory gives a functional purpose to the features of the Great Pyramid. This theory accounts for a method of moving stones on barges that has been used efficiently. This method is efficient, and quick. The stories of people hauling stones up ramps apparently can not be demestrated.
Here's another one: does your organization enjoy a tax exemption as a charitable foundation?
Answer:
Yes sir! Our tax exemption is like universities and musioums.
Question:
We're far more interested in why YOU think your foundation is doing ANYTHING worthwhile with its time and resources. So far, you've shown nothing.
Answer:
Our research is ongoing. We are currently building a large model of the Great pyramid water pump as well as offing a $50,000 research scholarship to demonstrate how casing stones are made and moved.
Question:
I've looked at your offer, and the reason nobody "bites" is because it will COST more than $50,000 to SET UP and conduct the experiment!
Answer:
$50,000 to make 5 full size casing stones and move them about 100 yards. All it would really cost is the price of a few chisels and "pounders" but I wish it was more money. The people who make the casing stones can keep them. I have been contacted by privit collectors and musioum adminastrators requesting to purchas these athounticly created casing stones. One offer was over $30,000 each! Anyway we are nagoating for aditional funding for this scholarship.
Also we are developing aditional scholarship!!! One will be to haul a 60 ton payload up a 20 story ramp. the ramp could be a dirt road and the 60 ton payload could be anything, like a locomotive. Just take the wheels off and haul it up the dirt road. I think we can have a monatary value of $100,000 to demestrate that.
Question:
You cannot ANSWER "how and why" until you KNOW "WHO"!
Answer:
OK, lets say Khufu built the Great Pyramid. Now I want to know both how, and how long it took to make ONE casing stone. It didn't help by assuming Kufu built the Great Pyramid.
Question:
Damn skippy it hasn't been demonstrated... mostly because we don't have stonemasons with 500 years of historical experience with stone pounders and copper chisels loitering around looking for something to do during Christmas Vacation.
Answer:
It is correct that it hasn't been demonstrated. We are trying to put Egyptology in the realm of science by having their assertions demonstrated. If they can not be demonstrated..... then what.
I thak everyone for their interest.
Warm regards,
Steven Myers
