<HTML>Garrett,

I don't consider for a moment that people who advocate violence are rational and reasonable. Nor have I been suggesting as some people seem to think that I think this tragedy was something that was deserved. I am against violence. I just happen to think, from close up personal experience, that the 'collateral damage', as I have heard it referred to, of more innocent lives lost in order to obtain justice is not warranted just to get at the perpetrators of this terrible crime.

You have only been away from Ireland for 8 years. You can't have forgotten Gordon Wilson in that time. The cycle of violence must end and he was, for our country, the first step so bravely taken, despite his personal sorrow, toward peace.

Regards from a fellow countryman,

Jameske

P.S. Until suspects are brought to trial we do not know who is guilty of this crime. Justice must be seen to be done without the loss of any more innocent lives. This is my view, if I am a demon for believing this well then I am a demon.</HTML>
